Fertility Preservation: Starting the Conversation with Your Patients

Please join us for a FREE CEU program with Dr. Gerard Letterie of Seattle Reproductive Medicine discussing the topic of Fertility Preservation in oncology patients.

At the conclusion of this program, professionals will be able to:

  • Describe the clinical scenarios in which fertility preservation is appropriate;
  • Explain the impact of cytotoxic agents on gonadal function and fertility potential;
  • Discuss the evolving and maturing technology of gamete and embryo freezing;
  • Discuss a practical approach for the earliest possible referral and maximizing a patient’s reproductive potential after chemotherapy
  • Describe the outcomes using contemporary oocyte, sperm and embryo freezing technologies including success after thawing and live birth rates

1.0 CEUs will be provided to nurses and Social Workers, and a certificate of completion will be provided to other healthcare professionals.
