Mentorship
We understand that nursing students interested in exploring
oncology nursing would like to connect with practicing
oncology nurses.

We are pleased to announce that we are starting our
mentorship program with a Mentorship Kick-off Celebration
event on Wednesday, February 25 th  from 6:00-8:00pm at
Ivar’s Salmon House at 401 NE Northlake Way, Seattle, WA,
98105. Bus routes 31, 32, 62, and 70 run near the restaurant,
and there is a parking lot and nearby street paid parking.

Attendees for this event are nursing students who have
signed up to be mentees and oncology nursing who have
signed up to be mentors. Heavy appetizers, non-alcoholic
beverages, and dessert will be served as mentees and
mentors meet up to start their mentorship journey

Ideally mentees and mentors are available on 2-25-26 to meet
each other at the Mentorship Kick-off Celebration.

Future of Oncology Nursing Scholarships! There are two
scholarships offered annually.

In 2026, the following two nursing students received
scholarships: Katheryn Praywell – Seattle University & Eliza Perkins – UWSN.
