Welcome to our student engagement page. Here, you will find opportunities designed to support nursing students who are interested in exploring a career in oncology nursing. From complimentary memberships with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Puget Sound Oncology Nursing Society (PSONS), to future mentorship initiatives and scholarship updates, this page serves as a central resource for students seeking to deepen their knowledge, build professional connections, and grow within the oncology nursing community.

Mentorship
We understand that nursing students interested in exploring oncology nursing would like to connect with practicing oncology nurses.  If you are interested in attending a focus group to provide your ideas about what a future mentorship program would look like, please send an email to psonsfutureoncrn@gmail.com with your name and we will invite you to the event once it is scheduled (Fall 2025).

Save the Date!  Mentorship night: Wednesday October 8th 2025 from 1800-2000 at the UW School of Nursing.
