 PSONS is Recruiting for the Following Positions:

Education Committee Members

PSONS is looking for volunteers for the Education Committee.  These individuals would work with PSONS Education Chair Ryan Iwamoto to develop monthly PSONS Education Meetings which are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Please contact Ryan Iwamoto at psonseducation@gmail.com if you are interested!

The Puget Sound Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (PSONS) is an organization committed to the advancement of oncology nursing practice through education, communication and research.  Its mission is to promote excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care.

The purpose of the organization is:

To promote quality in oncology nursing practice through education, communication and research.

  • To enable oncology nurses to survive in the current changing health care environment.
  • To encourage a proactive stance with respect to professional issues.
  • To promote networking among oncology nurses served by PSONS.
